2030-SDGs Games

As part of the Greenwalk project, we played the 2030 SDGs game together to gain a better understanding of how economic, environmental and social development goals interact with each other.
The 2030 SDGs Game is a card-based simulation. It shows how the ‘real world’ could evolve by the year 2030. Sustainability has become a buzzword for many people. However, many still find it difficult to act sustainably. The available information is often contradictory and needs further explanation. Even the big picture is not always clear.
Understanding development
To implement concepts and projects effectively, it is important to understand their background and context. This requires considering different perspectives. That is why, under the guidance of Roland Gutmann, our developers, together with project partners Boris König from BOSOO, Manfred Kofranek from wissen.verändert and the Klimaverbund research association, spent an afternoon playing the 2030 SDGs game.
During a joint dinner after the match, the experiences and insights could continue to have an effect.
The Greenwalk project is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) as part of the Impact Innovation programme. The project aims to develop digital tools and a platform that support sustainable and climate-friendly behaviour in everyday business life, and that are scalable, measurable and practical.
